The Recreation and Special Events Department is taking vendor applications for the day. Its 2026 vendor rules allow booths of about 12 by 12 feet and require vendors to bring their own generators, and set food-safety rules for food vendors. Drake Field is on the multiuse path network, which makes a golf cart or bike an easy way in.

We will add the schedule, any tree lighting, Santa’s arrival time and parking and road closures as soon as the city posts them.

Santa at The Avenue

The Avenue Peachtree City, 239 City Circle, holds Holiday Photos with Santa Claus from 5 to 7 p.m. on three Mondays: Dec. 7, 14 and 21, with holiday music, according to The Avenue’s event page. Families are invited to bring a wish list.

Parades and lightings nearby

As of Oct. 6, none of the neighboring cities’ Christmas parades or tree lightings for 2026 could be confirmed on an official page we could reach. We will list the ones in Fayetteville, Tyrone and Senoia, with dates, routes and road closures, as those cities post them.

Light displays, services and holiday hours

Light displays, menorah lightings, church services, the library’s holiday closings and the Kedron Fieldhouse schedule are in our holiday lights and Christmas events guide. For shopping dates, see Black Friday and holiday shopping; for the last night of the year, New Year’s Eve.
