McIntosh, J.C. Booth and the high and middle schools hold Thanksgiving feasts Thursday, Nov. 5. Elementary feasts run Nov. 4-6. Times for each school serving Peachtree City.

Fayette County Public Schools holds its Thanksgiving feasts in school cafeterias this week, Wednesday through Friday, Nov. 4-6. Every high school and middle school has its feast on Thursday, Nov. 5. Elementary schools spread theirs over two or three days.

The district posted the schedule Oct. 28. The times below are the serving windows it listed for each school.

What it means for you

If you plan to join your child for the meal, check with the school first. The district’s post does not list a price, a reservation deadline or who may attend. It says: “Please check with your student’s school regarding the procedures to attend the Thanksgiving Feast.”

Pick the day your child’s lunch period falls in if the school offers more than one. The windows cover all lunch periods, not a single sitting.
