Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams opens its first Peachtree City shop at The Avenue on Thursday, Nov. 5. The company is giving away free scoops from 6 to 10 p.m. that night.

The ice cream chain announced the opening in its grand opening event listing on Discover Atlanta. It calls the shop its first in South Metro Atlanta.

The grand opening

According to the company’s listing, the night includes:

  • free scoops all night, including Brambleberry Crisp, holiday flavors and its new Sticky Toffee Pudding
  • Jeni’s merchandise for the first 50 people in line
  • a drawing for five guests to win 52 scoops each

To enter the drawing, the company said, guests download the Jeni’s app, join its Splendid Rewards program and scan in at the event.

The Fayette Chamber of Commerce holds a ribbon cutting for the shop earlier the same day, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The chamber lists the address as 232 City Circle, Suite 800.
