Peachtree City's five villages from the city's plan: ZIP codes, zoned schools and home values. 63% of city addresses are zoned for McIntosh High.

Last checked Oct. 6, 2026. Sources: the City of Peachtree City’s 2022 Comprehensive Plan (PDF) and village boundaries map data, Fayette County’s address point and school zone data, Fayette County Public Schools’ Find My School zones, the state’s 2025 School Grades data, Zillow Research, the Census Bureau and OpenStreetMap.

Peachtree City was planned before it was built. The city’s 2022 Comprehensive Plan says it was chartered in 1959 and laid out by a private development company, and that its original 15,000 acres have grown to about 25 square miles. It has 39,576 people, by the Census Bureau’s 2020-2024 American Community Survey five-year estimates.

The plan organizes the city into villages: residential areas, each around a Village Center of shops and services, all linked by the city’s 100-plus miles of shared-use paths. It names five residential villages, Aberdeen, Braelinn, Glenloch, Kedron and Wilksmoor, and says residents often identify where they live by their village name, not their subdivision name. A sixth area, the Industrial Village along Ga. 74 South around Falcon Field, has no homes in the county’s address data.

Two state highways cross in the middle of the city: Ga. 74 (Joel Cowan Parkway), which runs north to I-85, and Ga. 54 (Floy Farr Parkway), which runs east to Fayetteville and west to Coweta County. There is no interstate in the city.

Three things to know before you look at a listing:

  • One ZIP code, but not one city. Almost every home inside city limits is in 30269. But in Fayette County’s address data, about 4% of residential addresses with a 30269 ZIP code are outside the city, in unincorporated Fayette County or Tyrone, where the city’s police, fire and path rules do not apply. Check a parcel on the county’s qPublic property search.
  • School zones do not follow village lines. Of the city’s 14,490 residential addresses, 63% are zoned for McIntosh High, 30% for Starr’s Mill High and 6% for Sandy Creek High, in the district’s Find My School zones. Wilksmoor is split between McIntosh and Sandy Creek; all of Braelinn goes to Starr’s Mill. Always check one address on Find My School.
  • No city trash service. Households sign up with one of the city’s approved haulers; see our trash and recycling guide.

Address counts and school shares are from Fayette County’s address data, matched to the district’s zones on Oct. 6. How we built this

The villages are the city’s own: the five residential villages and the Industrial Village are the character areas in the 2022 Comprehensive Plan, and their boundaries are the village map the city’s GIS office publishes. We did not draw or rename any area. Address counts are residential address points in Fayette County’s address data inside each village; school shares match those points to the zones in the district’s Find My School lookup and agree with the county’s own school zone map to within a few dozen addresses. Road distances are measured on the OpenStreetMap road network. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
